What most people do, including me, is that they live in youth hostels for a while. In hostels, you meet a lot of travelers who are going to the same places so you guys can team up and travel together. If you are productive, you can stay as long as you want. <br /><br />You do have to take care of your travel expenses ( plane tickets, food, transportation within Thailand). Isara provides you with free accomodation and unlike other programs, they don&#39;t charge you for volunteering.
